INSTAFLEX

Drinking Water Installation System of Polybutene

INSTAFLEX is a complete, all-plastic system for hot and cold water installations in buildings. From basement distribution via riser pipes up to final distribution to each consumer, water flows in a corrosion-safe and encrustation-free piping system. Rational prefabrication and processing are essential features of the INSTAFLEX system. With this method installation on site becomes much faster and easier. INSTAFLEX is made of the plastic material polybutene, which is characterized by simple and practical jointing techniques, resistance to temperature fluctuations as well as a favorable energy balance.

Advantages

  • Complete system
You have the distinct benefit of a complete system from the house connection to the water faucet.
  • Economical
Operating efficiency is achieved largely due to the material, the durable installation technology and the accordingly low maintenance costs.
  • Ease of installation
Take advantage of the light weight and easy and fast electrofusion installation technique of INSTAFLEX. Thanks to low expansion forces (30 times less than steel) the material is able to absorb the expansion itself. For this reason rigid installations can be done without expansion bends or expansion joints.
  • Durability
You benefit from polybutene´s high resistance to ageing. The system is designed for a service life of at least 50 years, i.e. two generations, with a long-term load of 10 bar and 70°C.
  • Free of corrosion and incrustation
With the INSTAFLEX system you no longer have to worry about corrosion. The smooth inner surface of the pipe prevents calcium build-up. Rust in your water after longer periods of non-use (e.g. during vacation) is now a thing of the past.
  • Comfort and ecological balance
The significantly improved sound insulation factors of polybutene compared to metal reduce noise greatly in your drinking water installations. By implementing polybutene, you also contribute significantly to environmental protection since this is a reusable material with low energy input.
