Joint Stand with AS-Interface in Nuremberg

From November 25 to 27, 2008 GF Piping Systems will be exhibiting its system solution for AS-Interface at the SPS/IPC/DRIVES Electric Automation trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany. At the joint stand of AS International Association, members of the user organization founded in 1991 will be showing their product innovations in the area of control technology in Hall 6, Stand 324.

AS-Interface stands for Actuator Sensor Interface. This standard was developed specially to network binary sensors and actuators to the higher control level. The AS-Interface solution is actually more an intelligent cabling system than a true fieldbus. Unrivalled in price, it enables connecting simple sensors and actuators via a two-wire cable including power supply. The declared objective is to be the worldwide industry standard in the lower field level.
